Dhamma Rata is 15 kms from Ratlam City. One can take an autorickshaw from the Ratlam Railway Station to the Sailana Bus Stand (costing about Rs.15–20). Therefrom, it is a 20 minutes drive by bus to the Sai Temple, Village Dhamnod. From the Sai Temple on the Main Road, one can walk down to the Centre in just 5 to 7 minutes.
Ratlam is well connected both by rail and road. It is a major rail junction and the Divisional Head Quarters of Western Railways. It has both broad gauge and meter gauge railway lines.
Four major railway tracks pass through Ratlam City, these are along Mumbai, Delhi, Ajmer and Khandwa (amongst this the railway track along Khandwa is a Meter Gauge track).
Ratlam is situated on State Highway number 31 and 22. It is well connected by road to important cities and towns in Madhya Pradesh and other states namely Gujarat and Rajasthan.
